Description:
Varun Infosys is currently seeking a Junior PHP Developer. The ideal candidate is hands-on and proactive when designing applications, and is good at finding simple solutions to complex problems. He/she will support existing applications as well as part of a big new development project.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 2+ years of work experience in a professional environment preferred
- 2+ years of MySQL experience
- 2+ years of PHP experience (preferably PHP 5)
- 1+ years of CSS experience
- 1+ years of XML/XSLT experience
- Experience with Zend Framework is a big plus
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux a strong preference
- Must come with solid programming fundamentals and know design patterns
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
